A: Our trained technicians will remove all affixed stickers and items from your windshield for easy application to the new piece of glass. Check with your state licensing agency for additional information on required inspections.
Q: How long will my repair or replacement take?
A: Windshield repairs can be performed in approximately 30 minutes or less. Windshield replacements often take approximately 60 minutes. To allow proper adhesion time, we recommend that you do not drive the vehicle for an additional hour after service is completed.
Q: How long will it be before I can safely drive my vehicle?
A: We use some of the best materials and adhesives. We recommend a one-hour drive-away time for windshield installations with dual air bag systems up to 55 mph.
Q: Does my vehicle need to be in a garage or heated area?
A: In poor weather conditions, shelter will enable us to perform a quality repair or replacement.
Q: My rear view mirror is attached to my windshield. Will the service representative attach it to the new windshield?
A: Yes, they will remove your rear view mirror and attach it to your new windshield prior to completing the service work.
Q: Will the chip or crack still be visible after the repair has been completed?
A: A windshield chip or crack repair is used to prevent further damage to your glass and to restore the structural integrity of the vehicle. In many cases the repair cannot be seen, however, there is a possibility that slight imperfections may still be visible.
